NCAA South Central Regional Tournament

It took two games to complete the job Sunday at Suplizio Field, but the Colorado Mesa University’s baseball team pulled it out by defeating Texas A&M-Kingsville to win the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament and earning a trip to the NCAA Division II World Series.

Since Thursday, Colorado Mesa University’s baseball team has been pleasing the hometown crowd during the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament at Suplizio Field.

Colorado Mesa University’s baseball team is continuing on by keeping their perfect record at home in tact.

The Colorado Mesa Mavericks looked to be headed for a loss in their opening game of the 2014 NCAA South Central Regional Tournament after going down 8-0  to New Mexico Highlands heading into the 7th inning. But, the Mavericks scored an unlikely win with an absolutely unbelievable comeback.
