Three Colorado ski resorts are reopening to take advantage of plentiful snow.

Purgatory opened Friday for an extra weekend and Sunlight Mountain and Powderhorn Mountain are also welcoming skiers and snowboarders back on Saturday and Sunday.

Other ski resorts say they'll stay open longer this season because of the good conditions.

Aspen Mountain was set to close April 20 but will stay open for the following two weekends.

Other ski areas extending their seasons are Breckenridge, Winter Park and Copper Mountain.
