Our Christmas Shopping was done, so Saturday night we decided it would be the perfect opportunity to jump in the truck and drive around to see Christmas lights and decorations around Grand Junction. With it being the weekend before Christmas there were so many houses lit up, and the holiday spirit was on full display.

After finishing dinner, we got our dogs ready to go and we left the house right around 6:00 p.m. which was great because it was already dark. We first drove to the always very popular Northridge Drive in Grand Junction where nearly every house on the street is WELL decorated. It took us nearly 45 minutes to see everything, and the line got much longer as we left. Sometimes seeing Northridge can take hours, so plan accordingly.

We then continued our adventure north up 26th Road/1st street across the I-70 overpass to Partridge Court, known as The Blue Light House on Google Maps.

Between just these two neighborhoods it was all the Christmas lights we could handle. We saw millions of bulbs lit up, so many large characters on display, and some of the best inflatables you can find anywhere. It was a tremendous night of about an hour and a half or tremendous light looking.

I will say it was also really fun to see so many people enjoying all the lights while riding around in a limo (supporting a local business), which taking in all the lights which I thought was a fantastic idea. To everyone who put up Christmas lights this year, thank you for making our community shine a little brighter this holiday season.
