What You Need To Know About GJ Rockies Playoff Baseball

The Grand Junction Rockies have made it back to the playoffs for the second consecutive season.

The Rockies clinched a playoff spot for the South Division with a victory Tuesday night. They will face the Ogden raptors in the South Division Championship Seris beginning Sunday, September 8 at Suplizio Field. Game two of the best-of-three series will be played in Ogden. Game three, if necessary, will also be played in Ogden.

Tickets for Sunday's game in Grand Junction will on sale Thursday online and at the Rockies front office at 1315 North Avenue.

Game time on Sunday will be 6:00 p.m. and the gates will open at 5:00 p.m.

There was a time this season when the playoffs seemed unlikely for the GJ Rockies' squad. But, the guys came together for a late-season surge and made it to the finish line. At this point, it doesn't matter what happened in the regular season. The playoffs are a brand new ball game, and we're sending positive thoughts to the Rockies and hopes for bringing a Pioneer League Championship to Grand Junction.
