I posted a question on Facebook and the 95 Rock app asking what your typical commute is and based on that, we've determined the average commute in Grand Junction is 17.83 minutes.

Now, this is actually not the official result from the responses, that was a bit skewed by a few responses. For example, Leroy is retired (lucky!) and Rubel has an abnormally long commute of an hour and eight minutes. If we take those numbers into consideration the number would be 28.61 minutes, which is actually still pretty close.

However, the majority of responses were somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes, which is what I assumed the number would be.

For example, I drive from 29 Road to our studios at 315 Kennedy Avenue and it takes typically 10 to 15 minutes, but it seems that in order to get pretty much anywhere in town it's going to take 15 minutes to get from one side to the other.

Also, our resident comedian Heather commented that her commute is "just the time it takes to get to your mom's." Don't stop being you, Heather!
