Grand Junction and the rest of Western Colorado have never suffered from a shortage of downtown parades. For the better part of 50 years, Bob Grant was there to catch the action via the lens of his camera. Take a trip back through time and enjoy a few decades of Western Colorado downtown parades.

After sifting through my grandpa's photos, a good forty or so photos really stood out. See how many downtown businesses you recognize. How many people do you remember from these photos?

How about the Mesa Theater sign in the background. Do you remember when that movie was new? Did you ever shop Woolworth's in downtown Grand Junction? For that matter, can you recall when The Daily Sentinel was on Main Street?
