Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki returned to the lineup Monday after being sidelined by a bruised left calf.

Tulowitzki went 0 for 3 in a 9-7 spring win over the Los Angeles Angels. He also had a fourth-inning throwing error that led to two unearned runs.

It was Tulowitzki's first game since being hit on the calf by a pitch on Wednesday.

Brett Anderson worked six innings for Colorado. The left-hander allowed five runs, three earned, and eight hits. He struck out five and walked none.

Padres starter Tyson Ross yielded 12 hits and six runs in 4 1-3 innings.

Josh Rutledge went 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs for the Rockies.

Xavier Nady hit a two-run homer and Everth Cabrera had a two-run triple against Anderson.
