As you can imagine, just the appearance of a funnel cloud brings fearful thoughts.Especially in your back yard.

Denver was host to a number of different types of weather on Tuesday, with hail, flash floods and, yes, a tornado or two. Some reported baseball sized hail, and windshields across the Front Range were shattered.

Weld County also saw a tornado touch down, although at this writing there was no reported damage. The twister was on the ground for roughly five minutes, but the only damage reported was an overturned tractor, as it stayed in a field.

In Greeley, hail was removed from the roads with snowplows. Power outages were also reprted, and several areas reported heavy flash flooding as heavy rains came through,

More rain is forecast for the area overnight, but is expected to clear out and warm weather return to the area in the next several days.
