It's time to add another name to the ever-changing list of starting and backup quarterbacks for the Broncos. Hello, Jeff Driskel.

It looks like Drew Lock has, indeed, locked in the starting QB position for the upcoming Denver Broncos season, as John Elway and his staff have taken on Driskel to back him up in a two-year agreement.

According to Denver 7, Joe Flacco, the current No. 2 QB, will be leaving the team, either by getting cut or settling an injury if he fails to pass his physical.

Jeff Driskel is 26 and from Florida; he was with the Bengals, then Detroit. From what I understand, he's a big guy, much like Lock. Driskel was drafted in 2016, first playing for the Bengals and then the Lions (which is where he's transferring from).

According to the Broncos' website, Driskel is a dual-threat: He's scored three running touchdowns out of his 12 total TDs in his 12 NFL starts.

In case you're wondering about the Broncos' previous backups, here's some names you may recall from last season: Brandon Allen and Brett Rypien. The Broncos' website lists Rypien as a current backup but makes no mention of Allen.
