The baseball schedule starts in Cincinnati as the Reds and Pirates complete a game that was started last night.

The two clubs combined for 10 hits and 14 runs over the first six innings before play was stopped by rain. When they resume this afternoon the score will be 7-7. The regularly scheduled game will take place following the completion of the first game with Gerrit Cole of the Pirates looking for his third win against no defeats.

The Brewers had their nine-game winning streak snapped last night when they were beaten by the Cardinals 4-0. Tonight the two National League Central teams will square off again in Milwaukee with the Brewers looking for their 11th win of the season against three defeats.

Besides Cole of the Pirates, three other pitchers are looking to start the season 3-0 tonight. Cliff Lee of the Phillies is 2-0 and tonight he and the Phillies face the Braves. In New York, Jason Hammel of the Cubs is going for his third win against no defeats as Chicago plays the Yankees, and Garrett Richards of the Angels goes for win No. 3 in a home game against the Athletics.

The rest of the MLB schedule has Tampa Bay at Baltimore, the Indians in Detroit, Miami at home to Washington, Seattle at Texas, the White Sox hosting the Red Sox, Kansas City at Houston, the Blue Jays at Minnesota, Arizona at home to the Mets, the Padres hosting the Rockies and the Dodgers in San Francisco.
