This position could be anywhere from part-time to full-time. According to the City of Grand Junction website:
Guest Service Representatives must have exceptional customer service and previous cash handling skills. Employees in this position are expected to greet pool guests, accept admission and pass fees, sell retail and concessions items, register guests for swim lessons, book facility amenities, answer telephones, and perform light administrative tasks and cleaning duties.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Must hold current Basic or Provisional P.O.S.T. certification in the state of Colorado. Applicants currently enrolled in a Police Academy will be considered. Must possess valid Colorado driver license. Experience in higher education and higher education safety policy matters, professional law enforcement background, and professional safety training experience is highly desired, as is experience working with young adults from diverse backgrounds.

What qualifications will you need?
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field plus three years of increasingly responsible experience in professional accounting, finance or budgeting.

Participate in all phases of maintenance assignments and facilitation of sporting and special events for Sports Facility operations; perform a variety of duties directly related to athletic field preparation and maintenance for events such as baseball, football, track, soccer, softball, special events; operate the specialized equipment needed for field preparation; assist with the care / maintenance of natural and synthetic turf; clean, maintain, coordinate and set up the Hospitality Suite; clean restrooms, bleachers, shelters, buildings and other assigned areas; operate and perform minor repairs to stadium infrastructure such as P.A. systems, field lighting, locker room facilities score boards, etc.; work closely with coaches, athletic directors and staff to meet the maintenance needs of facility users.
How about a seasonal job? You won't retire off of this one.You will, however, find it rewarding. What exactly is STARS? According to governmentjobs.com, STARS is a summertime program for children grades 1 – 8 from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
What's involved with the job?
Position plans, implements and supervises recreation activities within the STARS program, which includes games, arts and crafts, educational sessions, field trips and all other activities.
