The New York Jets have pulled off a deal as they try to salvage their season following a 1-6 start.

Two people familiar with the trade tell The Associated Press the Jets have acquired Percy Harvin from the Seattle Seahawks for a conditional draft pick. Harvin is one of the NFL's most talented receivers when healthy, but he's managed to play just 15 of the Seahawks last 37 regular-season games due to injuries.

He had two rushes for 45 yards and ran back the second-half kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown in Seattle's 43-8 win over Denver in the Super Bowl.

Harvin has 22 receptions for just 133 yards and no touchdowns in five games this season. He hasn't had more than 62 catches or 677 receiving yards since 2011 with the Vikings.

The deal was first reported by Fox Sports.
