Heritage Square, an entertainment type village in Golden has closed after nearly 50 years, and you have a chance to own a piece of it.

Opened in 1971 by the Woodmoor Corporation, Heritage Square has seen crowds decrease in recent years to the point that, in 2015, they sold their alpine slide as well as many of the buildings that made up the village. They still had many of the rides that people loved, like the Tilt-A-Whirl, the Scrambler and the Ferris Wheel, but as people stopped coming, the owners knew the writing was on the wall for their park, and so with it closing, you can now buy a piece of the park.

The auction will begin on Thursday, October 25th at the site of the park, 18301 Colfax Ave and will include those rides as well as just about everything else in the park. So if you have ever wanted to own an amusement park ride, here is your chance.

Everything is on sale. Bumper boats, go-karts, tables, benches, everything. If you have ever wanted to own something from an amusement park, this is your chance.

Just remember, if you buy the Tilt-A-Whirl, I get the first ride!
