The NHL bunches 13 games into the pre-holiday schedule including surging St. Louis and Chicago.

The Blues skate into Colorado tonight having gone 12-2-1 in their last 15 games. That's got the Blues at 37 points, the most through 23 games in team history.

That leaves St. Louis just a point back of Chicago for the top of the Central Division.

The Blackhawks are on a roll, going 11-2-1 in their last 14 games. Sparking the run has been Patrick Kane who has an 11-game points streak going that includes six goals and nine assists. Chicago rolls into Calgary tonight.
