Two teams fighting for playoff positions at the top and bottom of the NHL's Eastern Conference are facing off tonight in Columbus as the Blue Jackets entertain Pittsburgh.

The Penguins have 97 points, which is nine points back of first-place Boston in the East while Columbus is one of four teams tied with 80 points sharing the seventh and eighth spots. The other three are Detroit, Washington and Toronto and only the Maple Leafs have a game tonight. They are playing in Philadelphia.

The remaining games on the NHL schedule have Chicago skating at Ottawa, Dallas home to Nashville and the Rangers in Calgary.
