Two of the NBA's heavyweights collide tonight when LeBron James and the Heat head into Los Angeles to take on Blake Griffin and the Clippers. Miami won the only previous meeting of the two division leaders this season, behind 29 points from Dwyane Wade in November. Miami has won five of six to top the Southeast Division heading into the first of six straight road games. The Clippers top the Pacific Division and sport a 20-3 home record this season.

Washington tries to make it three straight against some of the top teams from the Western Conference, when they host San Antonio tonight. The Wizards start play above .500 for the first time since October 2009 after back-to-back wins over Oklahoma City and Portland. The Spurs go into tonight's play topping the Southwest Division.

That loss to Washington was the only one for Oklahoma City in their last 11 games. The Northwest Division-leading Thunder put a 10-game home winning streak on the line when they host Minnesota.

There are 12 games on the NBA schedule.
