Three teams are having their home opener today in Major League Baseball, the Yankees, Twins and Cardinals.

In New York this afternoon, the pinstripes are playing host to Baltimore with Hiroki Kuroda (hih-ROH'-kee kih-ROH'-dah) getting the ball from skipper Joe Girardi while the Orioles counter with Ubaldo Jimenez (oo-BAHL'-doh hih-MEN'-ez). In Minneapolis, the Twins are hosting the Athletics this afternoon and Kevin Correia (kohr-AY'-uh) is getting the start for the home team against Scott Kazmir. And in St. Louis this afternoon, the Cardinals are facing the Reds with Michael Wacha (WAH'-kuh) going up against Cincinnati's Tony Cingrani.

In the only other day game, the Astros are entertaining the Los Angeles Angels.

In interleague play tonight, the Indians are home to the Padres, while the rest of the evening schedule features the Red Sox at home to the Rangers, Tampa Bay at Kansas City and Chicago's White Sox playing in Denver against the Rockies.

Today's Milwaukee at Philadelphia game was called off yesterday because of the forecast of bad weather.
