We take you out the ball game today at Wrigley Field for game-2 of the National League wild-card series between the Chicago Cubs and Miami Marlins after rain postponed Thursday’s game. Yu Darvish leads the Cubs and hopes to avoid a sweep as he goes against rookie Sixto Sanches.

The Atlanta Braves are headed to the NLDS after they put away the Cincinnati Reds 5-0. According to ESPN, Ian Anderson dazzled in another shutout performance for Atlanta, and the Braves won a playoff series for the first time in almost two decades by sweeping the light-hitting Cincinnati Reds. The Braves will be matched with the winner of the Cubs-Marlins series to begin Tuesday, October 6.

It was the Clayton Kershaw show on the west coast as the Los Angeles Dodgers hurler fanned 13 Milwaukee batters over 8-innings. It was a sweep for the Dodgers as they await the winner of the St. Louis-San Diego outcome.

Over in the American League, the Oakland A's are headed to the ALDS for the first time since 2006. It's been 14 years since the A's have played extra's. They face the Houston Astro's on Monday along with the Yankees and Rays.
