There are four games being played this afternoon in baseball. In Minneapolis the Twins are playing host to the Padres while the White Sox are home to the Rangers, Atlanta is at Seattle and the Athletics are entertaining the Rays.

Of note, the Braves are looking to snap a seven-game losing streak with their game in Seattle while the American League West-leading A's have won two straight and six of 10 for a two-game lead over the second-place Angels. The Angels have won six of 10 as well and this evening open up a two-game series against the Dodgers in Anaheim. The two L.A. area clubs have just completed a two-game set in L.A. with each team winning a game.

The Reds are playing host to the Indians again tonight after last night's 9-2 win in Cleveland. That game put to an end a two-game series which the Ohio teams split. Following tonight's game they'll meet again tomorrow night in Cincy.

The third of four games between the Yankees and Tigers in New York is this evening. They've split the first two games.

The top two clubs in the American League East are playing the second game of a three-game series in Toronto tonight. Baltimore won the opener last night 9-3 to take a five-game lead over the Blue Jays.

A pair of division leaders in the National League continues their head-to-head face-off tonight in Milwaukee as the Brewers play host to the Giants. Milwaukee won the opener last night and the series comes to an end tomorrow evening.

The remaining games tonight feature the Astros in Philadelphia, the Pirates home to the Marlins, New York's Mets in Washington, the Cardinals at home to the Red Sox, the Cubs in Denver against the Rockies and Kansas City at Arizona.
