We came to Grand Junction because we saw a need for our way of doing business.
We here at Sutherlands of Grand Junction pride ourselves on our flexibility and problem solving abilities crucial in serving residents of the Grand Valley. Our customer’s needs have never been “cookie cutter” and neither is our approach to supplying them. You have a specific vision for your kitchen? We can help! You need a custom out building or a shop? Let our counter guys take a crack at it! Want to paint your house purple and yellow? We’ll get you mixed up with the stuff you need to get it done! Unlike the bigger chains, we have a more localized ability to read and fill our customers needs without a lot of corporate hassle. We do this from the merchandise we carry to the very layout of our store.
Everyone is very hands on in the running of the business- from the Sutherlands family to the part time employees. It’s actually not uncommon the have one of the owners ask you if you need help in one of the stores and for you not even know it. We aren’t ran by faceless bigwigs in suits and we don’t have a whole lot of turnover at Sutherlands of Grand Junction. There is a good chance the person who sold you your pellet stove or your front door will still be there to help you when your next project comes up. Many of our folks have worked here for years and quite a few who have been with us for decades. We hope to continue to be your local experts for years to come.
