The USA Pro Challenge is returning to northern Colorado.

Organizers announced Monday that cyclists will ride from Loveland to Fort Collins in the next-to-last stage of the 2015 race.

The exact route won't be announced until the spring. Local organizing member Chris Johnson told the Coloradoan that it won't include the Big Thompson Canyon as it did when the area hosted the race in 2013.

The region didn't try to host a stage this past summer because of the devastating September 2013 floods.

Next year's Pro Challenge will start in Steamboat Springs on Aug. 17 and end in Denver on Aug. 23.
