Wyoming saw two of its former players selected in the NFL Draft over the weekend.

It is the first time since 1997 that the Cowboys have had multiple players selected in the same year.

Free safety Marqueston Huff was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round, and wide receiver Robert Herron was selected in the sixth round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Quarterback Brett Smith, who entered the draft after his junior year, was not drafted, but he signed a free agent contract with Tampa Bay soon after.

Wyoming has had multiple players drafted in the same year 21 times, with the most Cowboys selected in the same draft being five in the 1968 Draft.
