It's too hot outside to do much of anything, and you can't go swimming because you have a little one and they can't swim, right?

Let's take a look at a few places you can go, cool off and let your young one cool off too.

Moyer Pool-Lincoln Park

The kiddie pool there is a nice way to get your child introduced to swimming as well as cool them off. Don't miss the free days every Wednesday from 9-2!

Orchard Mesa Pool-Orchard Mesa

Like the Moyer Pool you can swim during the day, the difference being this one is inside, so if you can't be in the sun, this is a great alternative! And like the Moyer pool, you can get your little one lessons. Diving lessons and beginner, intermediate and advanced swimming lessons as well.

Private Swimming Lessons-Your House, Your Pool

Now here is an idea! Your child feels more comfortable at home than anywhere else, so why not let them learn right there in your pool? Have a certified swim instructor come and teach your kids how to swim and enjoy that backyard pool even more!

Fruita Pool-Fruita

Swim lessons in Fruita are available as well! Get over to the pool after you register for the lessons and enjoy the water!

Of course, loading up the car and going to your favorite swimming hole is fun too, but just remember a few things.

Don't take your eyes off of them for a second. You know kids!

Take plenty of sunscreen and apply often, and don't forget the water! Staying hydrated is the best thing you can do for yourself in the summer! Swimming comes a close second!
