If you missed the Grand Junction annual fireworks display you missed a fantastic fireworks finish.

More than 6,000 fans filled Suplizio Field, while thousand more lined North Avenue, Lincoln Park, and neighborhoods surrounding the park. Personally, I would have to say it wasn't the best fireworks display Grand Junction has ever seen, but, the fact is, it was just nice having the show, especially considering the fact that so many communities were forced to cancel their.

It was a great way to wrap up the July 4th celebration of America's independence. I know a lot of people stayed home and watched the big fireworks show in New York - and it was pretty awesome - but it's just not the same as seeing fireworks in person.

Having said that, a video of the fireworks isn't nearly as dramatic and exciting as live, up-close, and personal, and feeling the booms echo throughout your entire body. But, this is the next best thing for those that could not be there to see the big display.

For your viewing pleasure, I present to you the Grand Junction fireworks big finale. For best results, be sure and view it in full screen, and crank up the volume as loud as you dare.
