There are two good matchups in the NBA Friday evening. In San Antonio, the Southwest Division and Western Conference leading Spurs are playing host to Portland. The Blazers start the night in first place in the Northwest Division with a record of 29-9 while the Spurs are 31-8. The Blazers have won 12 of the last 16 meetings between the clubs.

The other game is in Oklahoma City as the Thunder, a half-game back of the Blazers in the Northwest, entertain Golden State. The Warriors are in second-place in the Pacific Division, two games back of the first-place Clippers. The Thunder and Warriors have split the two games they've played this season.

The rest of the pro hoops card has Orlando playing host to Charlotte, the Heat in Philadelphia to play the 76ers, Chicago at Washington, the Clippers in New York playing the Knicks, Toronto entertaining Minnesota, the Lakers in Boston, Detroit playing host to Utah, the Kings in Memphis, Dallas on the road in Phoenix and Cleveland playing in Denver.
