Florida State receiver Jesus Wilson faces a felony charge of third-degree grand theft motor.

A motor scooter was reported stolen on campus June 11 and Wilson was stopped riding it on June 17 by Tallahassee police. Wilson said a friend loaned him the vehicle. An investigation ensued, and Wilson turned himself in to Leon County Sheriff's department Wednesday. Wilson posted a bond of $2,500 and was released from Leon County jail.

FSU spokesman Rob Wilson said school policy forbids a player from representing the team when charged with a felony. Wilson is not eligible to practice or travel, but is not automatically kicked off the team.

Wilson, a sophomore, played in 12 games last year and was expected to compete for starting role in 2014.
