The two teams battling it out for the Pacific Division lead in the NHL are both on home ice tonight. In Anaheim, the Ducks are playing host to Washington, while in San Jose the Sharks are hosting the Panthers.

Both the Ducks and Sharks start the day with 97 points, good for a first-place divisional tie and four points back of West leading St. Louis. The Blues have the night off.

That Anaheim-Washington game is key for the Capitals as well as they trail the Rangers by two points for the final playoff berth in the East. New York is on the road tonight for a game at Ottawa.

Boston starts play with a five-point lead over Pittsburgh in the Eastern Conference, and tonight the Bruins are at New Jersey while the Penguins are playing at home against Dallas. The Stars are two points behind Phoenix for the eighth and final playoff berth in the West.

Your remaining games this evening feature the Islanders at home to Minnesota, the Hurricanes at Columbus, Montreal at home to the Avs, Toronto at Detroit, the Flyers on the home ice against Chicago, the Sabres in Calgary and Edmonton's Oilers at home to Nashville.
