For those familiar with Major League Lacrosse, the Denver Outlaws will host a home playoff game for the first time in team history this Saturday.

What you might not know is this – four of the Outlaws players at one time played lacrosse for the University of Denver.

Defenseman Dillon Roy, attackman Eric Law, attackman Cam Flint and midfielder Jeremy Noble all graduated from the University of Denver and all played lacrosse for the Pioneers.

Law, Flint and Noble were all a part of the 2011 team that led the Pioneers to their first NCAA Final Four.

All four players, along with the rest of the Outlaws team, are hoping this weekend’s playoff game will have a bit of luck attached to it. The Outlaws normally play their home games at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, but due to a small conflict with the Broncos preseason, this weekend’s playoff game will be played at the University of Denver’s Barton Lacrosse Stadium.

The Denver Outlaws will face the New York Lizards in 3:30 p.m. Saturday, with the winner advancing to the championship game August 23, either against the Ohio Machine or the Rochester Rattlers.
