Three-time defending champion Novak Djokovic (JOH'-koh-vihch) has been upset by Stan Wawrinka (vah-VRINK'-uh) 2-6, 6-4, 6-2, 3-6, 9-7 in the Australian Open quarterfinals. The result ended Djokovic's 25-match winning streak at Melbourne Park. It also ended Wawrinka's 14-match losing streak to Djokovic and vaulted him into the semifinals at a major for just the second time in his career.

The match took exactly four hours, and featured some stunning rallies. Both players were amazed at some of the shots coming back from the other side. The match even included a five-minute rain delay with Wawrinka serving at 5-5 in the fifth.

Wawrinka will next play seventh-seeded Tomas Berdych (TOH'-mahs bur-DEEK'), who also reached his first Australian Open semifinal when he beat No. 3-seeded David Ferrer (feh-REHR') 6-1, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.

It will be Li Na against Eugenie Bouchard in one of the two women's semifinals at the Australian Open.

The fourth-seeded Li advanced with a 6-2, 6-2 win over No. 28 Flavia Pennetta. Bouchard rallied for a 5-7, 7-5, 6-2 win over No. 14 Ana Ivanovic (ee-VAH'-noh-vihch).

Day ten quarterfinal action has top-seed Rafael Nadal taking on Grigor Dimitro, and No. 4 seed Andy Murray meeting sixth-seed Roger Federer. In women's play, No. 2 Victoria Azarenka (ah-zah-REN'-kuh) takes on No. 5 Agnieszka Radwanska (ahg-nee-ESH'-kuh rahd-VAHN'-skuh) while 11th-seed Simona Halep (HAL'-ehp) meets Dominika Cibulkova (doh-mih-NEE'-kuh see-bool-KOH'-vuh).
