Opponents of a proposed stadium on the Colorado State University campus say they'll take their fight to the school's Board of Governors after four reports endorsed a new arena.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan reported Friday an opposition group called Save Our Hughes Stadium plans to watch closely when the Board of Governors takes up the issue at a meeting on Dec. 4-5.

The university is debating whether to renovate Hughes Stadium on Fort Collins' west side or build one on campus.

The school's athletic and facilities departments and two advisory committees released reports this week endorsing a new stadium

City officials are compiling another report on how a new stadium would affect traffic, parking and nearby neighborhoods. The City Council is expected to discuss the report on Dec. 2.
