Two of the older bowl games are being played this evening. In Arlington, Texas, it'll be the Cotton Bowl with Missouri facing Oklahoma State, while in Miami the Orange Bowl this year has Ohio State playing Clemson.

The Cotton Bowl features two schools that met for years as members of the Big Eight and Big 12. That all changed when Missouri bolted the Big 12 for the SEC. Tonight's game is the first time these schools have met in a bowl game. The overall series is led by Missouri, 28-23.

In Miami the Orange Bowl features a Big Ten school against one from the ACC. The Buckeyes of coach Urban Meyer are 12-1, still smarting from their loss in the conference championship game to Michigan State. The Tigers of Clemson are 10-2 and looking for some redemption after being blown out by West Virginia in the Orange Bowl two years ago, 70-33.
