Colorado’s Favorite Hard Liquor Might Surprise You

Colorado may be landlocked, but our favorite alcohol proves we wish we were lying on a beach somewhere.

Drinking social app BARTRENDr recently gathered information from over 700,000 users to determine each state's favorite alcohol, and honestly, I'm pretty surprised by Colorado's. It's not whisky, despite the fact that some of our favorite craft beers are made from whiskey barrels. It's not vodka, for a light and refreshing cocktail post-workout.

Nope...it's Bacardi.

Based on the above graphic, it's pretty obvious that Fireball is a fan favorite. However, Colorado prefers the white rum that originated in Cuba.

Maybe you drink it in a mojito downtown, or maybe you're drinking it on the rocks on the dock. Either way, cheers.
