You ready for a road trip?

Believe it or not, Labor Day Weekend is fast approaching. In some ways it feels like summer just started and yet, at the same time, it feels like we've had summer and 2020 upon us for 19 years. Some would call that balance... or insanity. Either way, a long holiday weekend is on the horizon and I believe we're all ready for it!

So what's on your agenda?

I love a road trip on a long three day weekend. You sneak out of the office a little early the day prior and hit the open road. Maybe we need to set our sights on Vail this year. This charming town was just featured on a list of the 10 Best Places to Travel for Labor Day Weekend This Year posted by Travel Channel. There wasn't a ranking system, but Vail was featured fourth in their gallery, so I'm going to say we are in the top five here.

You'll find breathtaking views in Vail, along with just about every outdoor activity you can think of. I've got my eye on a scenic gondola ride to really take in all of the landscape. Travel Channel raved about all of the things to do in just about every season.

The town also looks adorable. It's more like a village nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Although every season probably favors this charming town, I think I most want to see it when the first snow falls. Nothing crazy, just enough snow to top the trees and dust the roofs of buildings.
