I was so happy to see how many pumpkin patches plan to open up in the fall in Colorado. If you have ever lived in a state that only has a few of them they are something you miss seeing in September and October.

Having spent the last 6 years in Texas, I was in an area of the coastal bend without many pumpkin patches to choose from. Here in Colorado, both the front range and the western slope are covered with farms that will be open so we can go pumpkin picking over the next 8 to 10 weeks.
