Colorado Mesa Athlete Named RMAC Wrestler of the Week

The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Tuesday released its weekly press release for college wrestling, and Colorado Mesa University’s James Martinez was named Wrestler of the Week.

Martinez earned the recognition for his results in last Friday’s matchup against Embry-Riddle and in Saturday’s Doubletree Open.

Martinez finished the weekend with a 5-0 record, and was one of three CMU wrestlers to earn a championship in the Doubletree Open.

Colorado Mesa’s wrestling team will travel to Greeley this weekend to compete in the Old Chicago Northern Colorado Open on Saturday.
