The puck is going to drop on Friday, February 7th for a good cause. Our CMU Hockey team will be hitting the ice against Air Force Academy at Glacier Ice Arena with the puck drop set for 7 p.m. All proceeds from the events will be donated to Mind Springs Health for mental health services in Mesa County.

Tickets are only $5 for everyone 7 years of age or older, CMU students and faculty with ID are free. Conquest construction will donate $100 per goal scored (for both teams) plus a portion of concession sales will be donated. Which means everyone in attendance will be rooting for a high scoring game. There will also be a collection jar to help raise more money for mental health awareness.

The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. if you want to show up early but it is recommended to carpool to Glacier Ice Arena.

You're also welcome to stop by the pre-game open house taking place at West Springs Hospital (North Avenue & 28 3/4 Road in Grand Junction). You will be able to tour the new hospital and meet the staff.

It's only $5 for a lot of fun for a great cause on Friday night, we hope to see you at Glacier Ice Arena to promote mental health awareness and watch some exciting hockey action.
