After reporting people losing money through pet scams on Craigslist and the like, it's time to hear from a real animal who really wants to be adopted.

The animal is currently residing at Grand Junction's Roice-Hurst Humane Society and her name is Sweet Pea.

According to the staff at Roice-Hurst who are obviously multi-lingual in animal languages, here's what Sweet Pea wants to share.

Like all sidekicks, I’m just plain good company.  I like attention, and also like my solitude.  I am bit shy so I would prefer to live in a quiet household.  If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further."

Sweet Pea is a beautiful 10-year-old spayed female long-haired tortoise-shell cat. If you want to meet Sweet Pea, stop by Roice-Hurst Humane Society and introduce yourself.
