The Jordan family adopted several family members from Grand Junction's Roice-Hurst Humane Society, going back as far as the late 1970's. October is Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month, and what better way to celebrate than to look back on close to 40 years of the fur-babies we adopted from the shelter.

Western Colorado bands are coming out in force to support another local group which recently fell victim to thieves. Grand Junction's Zolopht had their music gear stolen while on tour in Houston. Various local groups will unite this Saturday for a number of fundraising concerts.
