A car thief, who perhaps likes Ford sedans, stole an Escort parked at a Grand Junction convenience store.

Around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 the owner and driver of the car stopped at the Bradley Sinclair at 2903 North Avenue do do some quick shopping. When they left the store to get back into the vehicle, it had left without them. Please note, this was not an impatient self-driving car.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the car, a white 200 Ford Escort sedan, (similar to the car pictured), with an Oakley sticker on the top center of the vehicle. The total loss of the car and the victim's personal items inside it is over $750.
