Car Found in Grand Junction Canal Connected to Missing Person
The Grand Junction Police Department was called to the scene of a submerged vehicle in the Highline Canal at I-70 and Visitors Way in Grand Junction.
The GJPD is investigating the fatal car crash of the vehicle that was found submerged in the canal occupied by one person.
The vehicle found was registered to Kolten Ducy, 21, from Palisade, Colo. Ducy was reported missing by his family on Saturday, Oct. 4 by his family who had last heard from him earlier that morning.
The body was recovered by the Mesa County Coroner who will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death, and make a positive identity of the body.
