This will be a busy night of play in the NBA as 12 games are on the agenda. San Antonio and Indiana, the two conference leaders, are in action tonight and can build on their conference leads.

The Spurs, who have won 15 straight, top the Thunder by three games in the West and tonight San Antonio is at Denver while Oklahoma City is home to Sacramento. In the Eastern Conference race the Pacers have a three-game lead over Miami and tonight the Pacers are visiting Washington while Miami is at Detroit.

Two teams working hard to make the playoffs have the chance to improve their situation tonight as the Knicks are at Phoenix. New York starts the day 1 ½ games back of the Hawks for the final berth in the East while the Suns are holding down the eighth and final spot in the West by a half-game over Dallas. The Mavs have the night off. Memphis is just a half-game in front of the Suns and tonight the Grizzlies are at Golden State.

The rest of the schedule looks like this: Charlotte is playing at Orlando, Toronto is home to Boston, the Nets are hosting Cleveland, Portland is playing in Chicago, the Timberwolves are entertaining the Lakers and Utah is at New Orleans.
