Two World War II machine gun replicas, ammunition, and cash have been stolen from a business in Montrose.

The Montrose County Sheriff's Department reports the guns, dummy ammunition and cash donations for the Wounded Warrior Center were taken sometime in the evening hours of April 24th  and the early morning hours of April 25th.

The thief broke into Kelly's Cuts just off Townsend Avenue on Brown Road and took a 1919A6 machine gun which is about 50 inches long, weighs around 26 pounds and had a belt of dummy ammunition with it.

Also taken was a 1919A2 Bar that is about 45 inches long and weighs around 15 pounds. Both of the stolen guns have folding bipods. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the Wounded Warrior donation box during the burglary.
