These people need hugs. Bass players are the guys you see standing in the back of the band, keeping quiet, paying attention, and doing their job. These guys never get the chicks, and rarely get any praise. Ironically, the bassists are typically the most musically knowledgeable members of the band. These dudes (or dudettes) need your hugs.
