Denver Bronco Wes Welker says he's glad he took flight with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in Cheyenne but he's not sure he'll do it again anytime soon.

The wide receiver took off in an F-16 as the backseat passenger of Maj. Tyler Ellison on Sunday after a three-hour training session. Ellison took a rapid 360-degree turn that exerted pressure on them equal to nine times the force of gravity.

Welker told the Wyoming Tribune Eagle there were times when he wanted to pull out his vomit bag but says "I held strong and I was able to get through it."

Before landing, the pair headed west and enjoyed some beautiful scenery of the mountains.

The Thunderbirds will perform an air show Wednesday morning at Laramie County Community College.
