The Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 1247 will be holding an open house for medical providers that are interested in being a part of the Veteran's Choice program.

Two sessions will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at the VFW located at 1404 Ute Avenue. The first session will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the second will happen from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The local and state leaders will be available to talk to providers interested in participating and address any concerns that providers might have.
The VFW is sponsoring the event to seek providers "direct input on the Veterans Choice program because of the number of Veterans who have brought Choice related issues to the VFW", said Richard “Dick” Ball, a VFW service officer.  “We know that a lot of the non-VA providers in the remote communities won’t be able to attend the sessions, so we are sending out questionnaires to as many providers outside the Grand Valley as possible.”
Area VFW representatives and local county Veteran Service officers will be distributing a questionnaire to anyone showing an interest in being a part of the Veteran's Choice program. All of the collected questions and any concerns that may be brought up at the open house sessions will be addressed by Colorado VFW leaders after the event.
For more information on this event, or to receive a questionnaire, contact Richard Ball via email or call 970-812-6783
