A tornado touched down in the small town of Washington Terrace, Utah yesterday (Sept. 22) leaving a path of damage in its wake.

The tornado that hit Washington Terrace was likely an EF1 with wind speeds of 86 to 110 miles per hour. The tornado tore down power lines, ripped branches from trees and threw them into houses, and  destroyed as many as 12 homes.

In other areas of Weber County, there were reports of high winds and damaging hail. There were no serious injuries reported, just minor injuries from flying glass and debris.
