Former Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has a new dream -- to play professional baseball.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the college football star has decided to pursue a career in professional baseball.

Schefter says Tebow has been working out, training, and working on his baseball skills for almost a year and will hold a work out for major league baseball teams later this month.

Tebow hasn't played baseball full-time since 2005 when he was a senior in high school and was an all-state player in Florida.

The Los Angeles Dodgers reportedly had Tebow in for a work out before the season started and showed interest in the former quarterback. However, one major league scout was quoted as saying it is impossible to overcome 11 years of not playing baseball.

He apparently does not know Tim Tebow.

Tebow had a dream to be a starting NFL quarterback - and he was - albeit for a short period of time with the Broncos. He has remained steadfast in his commitment and desire to play quarterback since then, despite failed attempts to make it with the New York Jets, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the New England Patriots.

Most 29 year-olds in his position wouldn't stand a chance to get to the big leagues, but if anybody can do it, it's Tim Tebow. This is the stuff movies are made of -- and I'm sure the movie makers are already licking their chops!
