It takes a lot of nerve to break into a home in the middle of the day, but that's exactly what these burglars did. Plus, they managed to get away with over $30,000 worth of items.

The burglary occurred between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, September 18 when the suspects removed a window screen and broke into a home in the 800 block of Mission Court in Fruita.

The suspects  stole several pieces of Indian gold jewelry, coins from locked containers and a large amount of cash. The thieves also took the homeowner's business checkbook and passports. The value of the items stolen, including cash, is over $30,000.
