Play at Wimbledon today was held up for about 30 minutes because of rain. Following the delay, French Open finalist Simona Halep (HAL'-ehp) and former World No.1 Caroline Wozniacki (wohz-nee-AK'-ee) advanced to the fourth round with wins.

It was a short day at the office for Serena Williams at Wimbledon. The five-time champ took just 49 minutes to cruise into the third round with a 6-1, 6-1 beat down of Chanelle Scheepers.

American Sloane Stephens dropped her opening match at Wimbledon, losing today to Russian Maria Kirilenko. The 18th-seeded Stephens lost to the 109th-ranked Russian 6-2, 7-6.

Marion Bartoli says she has no regrets about retiring shortly after winning Wimbledon a year ago.

Japan's Kei Nishikori says he is "almost 100 percent perfect" health-wise heading into Wimbledon.
