Streaking Mavs Meet Houston

Six in a row and counting. The Dallas Mavericks have strung together that many wins heading into their Texas showdown at Houston tonight.

Both teams are off to solid starts with the Mavericks holding a 10-3 record to trail Memphis by a game for first in the Southwest Division. The Rockets are 9-3 and have lost two straight. They’ve dropped three of five at home this season while going 6-1 on the road.

Toronto’s riding high at 10-2 to top the Atlantic Division. The Raptors look for their third win in a row when they travel to Cleveland to meet LeBron James and company. The Cavaliers are trying to end a three-game skid that has seen them drop to 5-6.

Washington beat the Cavaliers last night to strengthen its hold on the Southeast Division lead at 8-3. The Wizards visit Milwaukee. That’'s part of a 10-game schedule in the NBA.
